What Are Crowns
Dr. Cebrynski can make crowns out of various materials. PORCELAIN CROWNSThe most commonly used type of permanent crown is the porcelained fused to metal crown. This is a high noble (high content) gold alloy that is approximately 0.3 mm thick. The porcelain is baked to it at high temperatures creating a chemical and mechanical bond. This is the strongest type of crown available.
CERAMIC CROWNSThe next type of crown is an all ceramic crown. Dr. Cebrynski uses a product that has a high strength ceramic core with porcelain baked to it.
Porcelain fused to metal and all ceramic crowns are the only tooth colored crowns.
GOLD CROWNSThe last type of permanent crown is a solid gold cast crown. In this case the entire contour of the crown is made in wax and then cast into gold.
Whatever type of crown you desire, Dr. Cebrynski is skilled in the fabrication to ensure you get the look you desire. |
