The most commonly used type of permanent crown is the porcelained fused to metal crown. This is a high noble (high content) gold alloy that is approximately 0.3 mm thick. PORCELAIN CROWNS

The most commonly used type of permanent crown is the porcelained fused to metal crown. This is a high noble (high content) gold alloy that is approximately 0.3 mm thick. CERAMIC CROWNS

The next type of crown is an all ceramic crown. Dr. Cebrynski uses a product that has a high strength ceramic core with porcelain baked to it.

 

Porcelain fused to metal and all ceramic crowns are the only tooth colored crowns.

 

GOLD CROWNS
The last type of permanent crown is a solid gold cast crown. In this case the entire contour of the crown is made in wax and then cast into gold.
